After the delicious meal at Tia's we went into the township to visit all the Thamsanqa houses. Some of the Thamsanqa children we already knew, others we didn't. It was impressive to see the houses, they were so proud of them even though they were so small! When we came in the children immediately showed us their bedrooms and proudly they showed us their wonderful school reports! In another house they even gave us a nice dancing performance!
Also all children here really like my hair, they like to touch it and feel it because it is so different from their hair, It felt like I was at a hairsalon!
But what saddens me is the huge amount of poverty in Motherwell, people struggle to get a meal every evening and their houses are very poor, It's hard to imagine when you're from such a wealthy country like Holland.
After dinner at Peter and Daphne's place we sorted out clothes we brought for the Thamsanqa children.
Tommorow we are going to work in the crèche, i'm really looking forward!!!
Greetings from South-Africa!!
