Day 13- Factory
Today we went to the crèche again. The children were very happy to see us! Larissa, the crèche teacher, was forgotten to pick up one child so when she go and went to get the child we already started the crèche. Every day they start with singing songs so we sang the 'goodmorning song' with them! When Larissa was back we prayed and sang some more songs. After the children ate their porridge we let them play with all kind of toys we brought from Holland. We brought stamps, stickers, colored paper and coloring pencils. They made beautiful artworks!!
In the afternoon we visited the factory who makes the school uniforms for the new shops of Thamsanqa. In the factory disabled people are employed, proudly they showed us what kind of work they do. Although they were disabled they made the clothes so nice and perfect, it was amazing to see!
Tommorow we will go to the crèche again!

Hoi Fleur,
Wat leuk om lezen dat ze jullie al alleen durven te laten met de kinderen.Dat betekent dat ze jullie echt vertrouwen geven.Fijn dat de kinderen met de knutselspullen blij waren .En je hebt gezien dat het geld goed besteedt wordt aan het atelier voor de schoolkostuums. En dat mindervaliden ook voor zichzelf kunnen zorgen daardoor. Super!! Voor mij een geruststelling dat het geld goed word uitgegeven aan de juiste mensen.
